Free membership is designed for transcriptionists who want to earn some part-time money by doing transcription work for selected clients. You agree to ONLY use TV platform for work when you get clients from the TV website

As a free listed member, you will

1. Your name, company name, address and phone number will be listed as a transcriptionist in our database.
2. You will be found when someone searches for a transcriber in your state, city or zip code.
3. You will be able to charge any fee to your client. File upload and payment needs to be passed through the website. TV will keep 15% of your fee and pay rest of the amount every two weeks.
4. Newsletter with tips for improving your transcription business.
5. You may get work directly from TV if you have passed the test. There is no guarantee of any work from TV.

You do not need to take test for transcription because If you decide to not take the test, then TV will not offer transcription work from the site. you are expected to meet all quality requirements in order to get paid

You need to register on the site and you will be automatically listed. It may take up to 72 hours before your listing will appear on the site.

You agree to use Transcription Vendors (TV) website to register your clients at the site who come through the website and use the TV platform for client file uploads and payment process.

Note: TV has the rights to remove your listing if we decide that a free listing member is not effective in selling.

Regular Membership

Regular membership is designed for transcribers looking to earn a steady income by providing transcribing services. You agree to always use the TV platform for clients who came through the website. failure to do so may result in immediate suspension of your account.

There is $29.99 per month fee for listing. The fee will be charged on your credit card on the 1st of each month. In addition, you pay 10% of the transcription fee that you charge your clients through the TV platform.

Here is what you get as a Regular Member:

1. Higher listing than free members for transcriber search in your area (state, city, zip).
2. Your own profile optimized for local searches.
3. Separate profiles based on your expertise.
4. Online marketing to bring your profile on page 1 of search engines for local transcription related keywords; resulting in calls for transcription services to ONLY you.
5. Toll-free phone number forwarded to your phone number. Research suggest that your will receive up to 35% more calls if toll free number is listed.
6. Free training/certification opportunity at Transcription Certification Institute (TCI). You will be able to post the online certificate on your profile, which will add to your credibility. ($799 value)
7. Preference over free member for getting files for transcription from TV.
